Very Good
I'm lying in bed, listening to the gentle patter of rain outside, feeling the breeze from the fan, and occasionally hearing the whistle of a train in the far distance....
I used to live in New York City. Somehow the lonesome wait of a far-away police siren, and the midnight chirping of a car alarm, aren't quite the same....

That sounds wonderful. I would say I wish I could be there, but that might be slightly awkward haha and I'm sure your wife wouldn't appreciate it.
