No Child Left Alive

From the Washington Post:

NASHVILLE, March 11--President Bush Tuesday opened a new drive to rebuild support for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, depicting a cold, remorseless enemy who has little regard for human life.

"These are vicious people who know no bounds of humanity," Bush said, referring to insurgents in Iraq. "They would not hesitate to murder. It's essential for our citizens to understand this. And that is why this war must be fought and that is why this war, this enemy must be defeated."

Appearing here before a friendly audience of religious-themed broadcasters who greeted the president with a prolonged ovation, Bush also insisted he would not be swayed by the 2008 presidential campaign as he nears a decision on how many troops to leave in Iraq for his successor.

"Ah want you to give me YOUR kids to put in the front lines, raht in front of these murderin' sonsabitches... jes' throw them kids out there where they kin get blowed up so that my reputation as a war president is secure ", the President added, but apparently not for the record.
