Helping Your Child

There's an excellent -- and I mean that; excellent -- article on SusieJ's website, SusieJ/Reviews, about her experience helping her child work through a problem at school with another child. It's well written, and it addresses a problem that every parent encounters, where there's a problem, you know what you believe your child ought to do, but you want the child to figure it out for themselves. How do you do it?

The article is Your child’s strength is his weakness, his teacher . I was delighted by it, and I recommend it highly.

Bill, Thank you. I wish I had been less active in the whole situation... but it was hard. Very hard.

Personally, I thought your actions were admirably restrained. Better than I would have done, I think.
