My wife and I used to use Yahoo Chat to keep in touch from my work PC to hers, and then from the home PC. Her company blocked it, essentially. Yesterday we found that Google's Chat function will work from our PC to her work one, and if you install the free Google Talk tool, it'll connect automatically when the PC starts. Goodness.
