I see where Cindy Sheehan has left the antiwar movement to others.
I'm sorry to see her go. She had -- and has -- more guts than most people; certainly more than our thin-skinned light-brained President. To quote from a movie -- Bush should stick to politics, because Cindy Sheehan is way out of his league.
I wish her well.

Sandy Sheehan was used and abused by the media thru her own selfishness and stupidity of others like you...
Used by the media? Perhaps. Abused? Maybe. Her own selfishness? I doubt that, but I don't know -- I don't know her personally. But I do know that I respect what she stood for, and stands for, way more than I respect what Bush stands for.
Incidentally, it's Cindy, not Sandy. Try to get the facts right, at least, even if the concepts elude you.
And yes, I AM stupid. After all -- I'm willing to listen to boors like you.
But does it really count as being "used" by the media when the results are what you wanted in the first place? Maybe she's the one who is guilty of using.... pun not intended.
That's why I said 'perhaps'. But even if she did it with full awareness of media impact, that doesn't take away from the acts themselves -- unlike, say, landing on a carrier wearing a borrowed flight suit, where the media impact IS the act.
On a more frivolous tangent, I love that movie!
I hope you are enjoy your first weekend without the Monday blahs to anticipate. :)
Oh, me too, A. I can quote whole chunks of dialogue from it. Didn't make me an ACLU supporter, but I liked it nonetheless. Except, maybe, Bob Rumson's drool.
Monday blahs? Ma'am, I've been doing that every day. Whats cute, in a bizarre way, is that I told my wife I am definitely going to sleep in, now... knowing perfectly well that of course I'm going to do nothing of the sort -- I'm going to routinely get up to have breakfast with them, cause I like being with them.
After they leave, though.....(g)
