I'm looking through the feeds in FeedDemon. One of them is from Post Secret.
There's always a guilty pleasure in reading some of the posts on that site -- OMG, they did WHAT? -- but there's a sense of catharsis, too. Geez, other people go through those feelings? And they learn to live with them?
Its not exactly 'enabling', but its in the ballpark.

I love reading Post Secrets too! Somehow it's satisfying to read and know some peoples secrets are more riske' (sp?) then mine.
Risque, Rach. Yes, exactly. I've never come close to most of that stuff; some, though... it's at least occurred to me.
But this doesn't excuse your fantasies about the mailman. Just thought I'd mention that.
I'm an avid reader too! I find it curious, and often wonder who could actually do some of this stuff.
I love the humorous ones, and feel sorry for the ones that have mental problems with no way out.
I Pray I never have to send in a secret, due to it's burden on my soul.
