Seemingly impervious to the uptake of knowledge -- Henry Rollins.
I did NOT go look, I did NOT laugh, and I did NOT laugh harder when I saw in the revised credits who will hold the new starring roles. *snicker*
Rach, I am proud of your self restraint. Only by keeping ourselves from having fun can we prove to our children that we are, in fact, Serious Adults. I personally hope to be one, one day, and your example has inspired me.
I had not realized how corny the dialogue was in that milestone movie. I have always felt that Charleton Heston was a pompous ass. Funny parady, but they had a lot of good material to work with!
I particularly liked his rendition of 'stranger in a strange land'. And we say that William Shatner's delivery is wooden! It was nice to see Edward G. Robinson, though -- even in a bit role.
