Weighty Matters

I've mentioned on a couple of occasions that over the last two months I've lost a fair amount of weight, and in response a couple of people said that this was something that guys could just do - lose weight without any effort. I would therefore like to point out that it goes both ways -- in the last week, during which I've been walking and using the exercise bike, and eating as I normally do, I've gained four pounds.

Um...yeah, thats it, lean muscle. To go with the chiseled features and full head of wavy hair. Yup.

Seriously, I don't know whats up, but what I think it is, is, I was going to physical therapy, and though it wasn't a 'workout', it was a little strenuous. So, walking -- I'm up to about 1.5 or 2 miles -- and doing the bike are my attempt to replicate that. Because I seriously did like being at the lower weight!

Actually, I'll settle for being able to pull off a couple of the moves that Pacino did...

Okay, I take my previous comment back. :P
Perhaps eating the way you did, is what's making you gain it back? Unless of course you're eating all protein and little carbs and still gaining .. then I'm clueless. ;)

Not sure. I've been tracking what I eat, last three days, and of course am having the standard reaction (I eat all that???). I'd bet that it is substantially carbs, though.

I wonder if chocolate ice cream for breakfast isn't such a good idea?
