Picture This

I was looking at some photographs, here, and an odd thought occurred to me. Why are most of these photographs of women? Is it that most photographers are men, and they prefer pretty women? Or are there dramatically fewer guys available for portrait photographs?

I have to admit, as I think of it, the only pictures of guys that I can recall seeing are, say, Calvin Klein and similar ads -- you know, the hyper-buff guys with the chiseled features and all of that. They don't strike me as wanting to be portrait models. But is that pretty much it? Cause, you know, I was thinking of a second career doing that sort of thing.... once Calvin Klein comes out with their, ahem, larger sizes...
