Saw this TED talk a few weeks ago and I was definitely inspired and has definitely provoked some thoughts. The best conclusion I can come up with is brains are really weird, heh.
I know effectively nothing about neuroanatomy. I was doing good to know what the corpus callosum's function was. But what struck me, in her description of being unable to tell where she ended and the shower wall began was, it sounded like a description of the effects of LSD. Makes me wonder if the 'effect' is actually shutting down communications with the other half.
