This has been around for a while, but I still like it.

And we are sooooo sorry about the house flippers who were making scads and scads of money and are now stuck with houses they can't move.

And gee, its a crying shame that the banks bought up all those mortgages at pennies on the dollar just to have them all fail on them. I always feel SO sorry for banks....

And about the beer....yeah...I DO feel your pain. (though things may be getting better...you got Sam Adams after all. Though I'll never forgive ya for successfully marketin Coors Light in Toronto! Gaack!)

The US with all its faults is STILL the most desirable place to live in the world, so hang in there...the economy will turn around.

I'm definitely with you on the first two. I have sympathy for people who are getting nailed, but none who went into it thinking that houses are liquid. Some folks made a great deal of money, good for them. But to count on it was and is insane -- as the financial advisors are now saying. These are likely the same ones who said that putting all of your retirement funds into one company was insane...AFTER the Enron debacle.

As for the third -- well, I'm not a beer drinker, but even I know that Coors Light is just colored water.

I love it that our Prez says well, the economy is strong, but ya know what? Lets do some more tax cuts. What an idiot.
