I'd told my daughter that if she doesn't get first honors, this marking period, she can't do color guard for the remainder of the year. My wife thought that was acceptable, but a bit harsh, so we agreed that she could finish color guard, but not be in it next year (high school), for at least the first marking period.
Comes the news that the high school color guard, next year, will be going to California.
Sigh. Now what?
