I was just at the mamamusings web site where she had a couple of interesting posts (she usually does; this is the classic bright, energetic woman). I wanted to respond to one of them, and learned that in order to do it, I'd need a TypeKey account. Nah, I don't want yet another ID. I did get a JournalSpace ID, just so it would stop flagging my responses there as 'this person is not a journal space user' -- and now I can't for the life of me remember what that id is. Worse are the sites that use Wordpress, where you not only need a WP id, but it's apparently logically separate by account, so that if you create the id for one WP site, its not usable for other WP sites. Why isn't there One Big Registry? Okay, I know why -- but this is like having to get a separate drivers license for every state. I'm sure Microsoft would be willing to sell such a service, hmm?

Today I continue the hunt for the daughter's missing retainer (good luck!), I do some residual cleanup (still buckets of stuff all around, and I haven't vacuumed in quite some time), and tonight, I make a new dish -- Beef Stir Fry. It'll probably be horrible -- I'm not an experimental guy -- but I wanted to try it anyway. One new dish a week, right?

Bill, the trick with stir fry is to get most of the juice evaporated from the veggies and meat and add the sauce at the very end.
Cheers!

Well... I believe you, but...I think that my measure of success will be if the smoke alarms don't go off!

(But thanks for the info (g) )
