Ballin'

Meatballs, in a sauce of grape jelly and Heinz sauce, cooked in a crockpot, has been a staple of our family ever since we got the recipe from a friend. Then, at the infamous Band Booster Meeting (I did briefly consider asking why it didn't say Color Guard, too, just to stir up the flames....but I didn't), one of the families made a crockpot meal of meatballs, in a mixture of barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and water. I wondered if this was one of those recipes that had started on a commerical site, and mutated, so I did a search for those terms.

Seven hundred and sixty eight pages! Yeah, I guess so.... but with all kinds of variations and additions -- pineapple, vinegar, mayonnaise (!), flour, cranberry sauce..... endless mutations.
