Well, dinner turned out pretty well tonight -- honey-wheat pizza dough, not too thin, with mozzarella and pepperoni, and a couple of glasses of sangria -- not bad at all.
Now, regular meals, I don't know much about -- particularly cooking steak. I totally can't cook a steak and have it come out looking like something that you'd actually want to eat... let alone something that makes you look and say Yum! Which is why I found this post, at Jaden's Steamy Kitchen, interesting. Don't know if I'll have the guts to try it, though.
It's one thing to bake and say 'whoa, that bread stinks, toss it' (which is what I did with the pretzels from yesterday). Not a lot of money goes into the dough and whatnot.
But steak? At what they charge, that's a whole nother story.... But wouldn't it be nice to be able to cook a decent steak? Heck, wouldn't it be nice to be able to consistently cook a decent hamburger?
