Me, too. But perhaps people who like them don't get the fascination of a good crossword. And I have to admit, I have quirky standards on crossword puzzles. I like them hard...but not TOO hard. They've got to use words that the average well-educated person would know. And it would be preferable that there be no pop culture references -- eg, 'Moody Blues bassist, familiarly'; 'Joltin'Joe's partner, originally'. No thanks.
