Muslim...Dentist?

There's intense believers.... and there's intense Muslim believers.... but an intense Muslim dentist believer? Seriously -- this can't be legit -- can it?

Another case of Muslimism taken to an ultimately ridiculous level. It is to a point where it angers me to see any religion go this far. Grrrr!

I don't have any problem with personal fierce interpretation of religious customs. But I do have a problem when the person with the custom expects others to accomodate them in an unreasonable manner. Letting a Muslim take time to pray six times a day, providing a location to do so -- not a problem. Refusing to take certain taxi passengers -- as Muslim cab drivers did in, I believe, Minneapolis -- or the Christian pharmacists who refused to fill 'plan b' contraceptive prescriptions -- they're a problem.

I agree with you, I also think that we are in the United States and we are bound to cross paths so if a Doctor that has Muslim faith cannot treat a patient because of his faith he needs to have a back up Dr. who can.
I have no problem with them practicing their faith, but personally I wouldn't let a Muslim Dr. treat me. They are just too weird and to condescending to their women folk. Give me a good ol' American Doctor, Dentist, Pharmacist and Taxi driver anyday.

You know I have spoken to, what I'm certain was a Muslim man computer tech, I got the same feeling from him and actually hung up 20 minutes into the tech help just to get another tech to assist me. I don't think I'm prejudice, I only expect to be treated with dignity and common respect.
