Bear

I just came across the writings of a woman name of Elizabeth Bear. Her web site is here; I found her via a piece she'd written which is posted on the Scifi.com website, called And The Deep Blue Sea. She's got an excellent writing style. I admit, I've read nothing else by her, but that short story was good enough that I'm recommending her, anyway.
