Rant

Word Press? You guys...um..exhibit poor judgement.

I just found a site, kind of interesting, so I thought 'hmm, maybe I'll leave a comment'. It required that I register. Gah. But okay, what the hell, middle of the night, I have the time.

It generated a password of 7DX5VWOJnzM4, which, call me weird, I found just a tad hard to remember. So I changed it. Or I TRIED to change it.

Your password does not meet requirements for...

At that point, I stopped reading, and chucked the site. No one is worth that much grief.

Thanks for pointing that out... as you may have guessed, my blog is pretty new, so I haven't ironed out all the kinks. I fixed it now, so that commenting doesn't require log-in or registering.

Thanks again for pointing that out to me! I was wondering why I wasn't getting any comments!

Haha don't bash the wordpress Bill! There are various settings and stuff, if you noticed my blog is on WP and you haven't had problems leaving comments there.
I'm a little bit of a wordpress junky so when I see it my antennae goes up and of course I had to comment.
Alright better go before I start ranting : )

Interesting. Its not so much the registration, as that they make it difficult. If anyone can make comments, then why is there a standard for the password? Let it be whatever I want. (Okay, yes, I know -- but if someone hijacks my id, then they start posting and everyone thinks its me. Thats true. I can live with that. Maybe someday when it happens, I'll feel differently.)

You have a blog, Shannon? I didn't know that -- though, now that you mention it, I seem to recall you saying that once before. But I don't know where it is. I think you said what it was in a comment -- but at least on Blogger, comments aren't searchable.

Sigh, clearly I am not good enough for your blog reader, but I suppose I can give it to you again haha. Its a bunch of rambling about education so don't feel obligated to care hah.

Thats weird. I looked in the folders, and it was there, but FeedDemon was not picking it up as current. I just deleted and readded it.
