Under London
I know that for the people who live there, it's just a rapid transit system -- but I was fascinated by the bit of the London Underground that I saw while we were there. Given scenes like this, I obviously need to see it again.
"In the interests of security, all Underground passengers are requested to travel with their eyes closed, opening them only to avoid stepping off the edge of the platform (mind the gap!), so as not to observe items, the details of which might later be inadvertantly be mentioned to terrorists."
It's so easy to ridicule professional security people...even as events show that some degree of their efforts are, in fact needed. Gah.
