It's a good thing flour isn't expensive, as I, again, blew five cups of it, plus some eggs, trying to make a decent sweet soft pretzel.
I got something thats baked, and somewhat soft. Makes a decent snack, but its not a soft pretzel.
Wonder if I should try a recipe for simple sweet dough?

Minor update: Heated, slathered with butter, its not bad...just not what I want.

Mmm .. soft pretzels are yummy! Even better with cheese sprinkled ontop. Practice does make perfect! ;)
Cheese? What an interesting idea -- why didn't I think of that? Bet some squirt-cheese on a hot one would be decent...thanks for the idea!
