Pennsylvania, or at least our part -- when we went back out to the car after being in the theater, the thermometer read: 100. Which for us, is seriously warm. But then on the way home it cooled down to 97, so it was okay.
We went to see the Indiana Jones flick. I agree with the summaries I've read (the ones by real people, not the breathless advertisements). I did think that the script had more than a couple 'then a miracle occurred' moments, and even the occasional 'Oh, hell, I don't know, lets just say that this happens...' (when we were leaving, my wife said 'Thats the best they could come up with for the big surprise?'). And it was a little painful to see this old guy -- well, older than me, even if in much better shape, and richer by far, too -- jumping and leaping. Or at least, someone who looked remarkably like him -- they did list a whole bunch of stunt doubles at the end. (Thats what we need: stunt doubles for the tough parts of life. ) But overall: good summer fair.
We also saw promos for The Dark Knight and for Hanover, about which I thought: good Netflix fair.
