Thinking

It occurred to me this evening that it'd be useful to compare the two presidential candidates according to how they felt on several issues, and what they were likely to do if they were elected. Then I thought 'well, whats the point of that -- you already know whom you support, and you know why. He's not likely to make major changes in what he says, so why worry about details?' And you know, I couldn't think of a good reason. I want to believe there IS one, but nothing came to mind.
