I didn't take this photograph -- in fact, I don't recall where on Flikr I saw it -- but I wish that I had. When I say that I want to 'take a photography course', this is the kind of result I'm thinking about being able to achieve. I really like the tight focus and almost abstract quality of the image - the extra white space on the left helps with that, I think - and the composition wouldn't have been as good without the line of beads snaking gracefully down and around.
