Not that anyone's asked me, or is likely to ask me, but in my opinion, the President isn't going to take legal action against anyone involved in the torture and interrogation affair. I believe that would be contrary to his general theme of not lingering on the past, but rather 'getting on with fixing things'. Additionally, it'd stir up a lot of political unhappiness without generating a corresponding benefit. Delightful as I find the image of Cheney et al in jail, I see no benefit in it.
I do believe that he'll come out with a strong statement that says 'this was a mistake, and it isn't the way that Americans do things'.
