Boy does this bring back the memories! I was sort of geeky in that I liked diagramming sentences in school, but as you can read, it didn't help much with my writing.
I never, ever got the point of doing diagramming. I didn't feel that I improved in anything other than the function itself, and the ability didn't seem to impress anyone in my job interviews.
