Well, I guess we're going to call this one a miss.
The weather people predicted one-two inches of snow tonight, changing to sleet and freezing rain, with about an inch of accumulation for the ice. As a result, schools let out early, library closed early, all of that.
It's raining now. There's a trace of ice in spots. Thats it.

Be thankful! I rode through Arizona in what was supposed to be warm weather, watching ice form. That's not a comforting sight, on a motorciccle. :-)
I can't even mention New Mexico! I was, literally, holding the engine block in an effort to stay warm. And it was supposed to be 50F.
(Just a quick point, and one you don't make too often: it's "that's", not "thats"... Sorry./ you know how I hate the old "its" it's" thing... sorry!)

If we didn't occasionally visit a friend in Tucson, I'd say what? Ice? in Aridzona? Can't be.... You must have been in Colorado.
Sounds like you need a plug-in hotsuit for the bike...wonder if they make such a thing?
There are such things! You can get electric gloves, socks, vests - the lot, basically.
I don't wear them because it strikes me as cheating. But as I do more and more cold-weather riding, such cheating seems to be fine!

SAAVIK: You cheated.
KIRK: Changed the conditions of the test. (Takes bite of apple) I don't like to lose.
....or get precious bits chilled!
