I'm given to understand that my ability to curl my tongue around its longitudinal axis is not too common, and my wife had a co-worker who could tie a cherry stem into a knot with her tongue. That person's ability, tthough -- I think it's indicative of a whole different life form.

Oh but it is, it definitely is. Some people are blessed(?) with that strange ability.
