Dumping

This is from the Daily Kos site:

1. Palin was an incompetent Mayor. As Mayor of Wasilla, Palin incurred a 20 million dollar debt in just 6 years or $3,000 per resident. (DFQ1, BB29)

2. Make no mistake that Sarah Palin is Big Oil. As the Executive Director of the Sierra Club said, "No one is closer to the the oil industry than Governor Palin."

I'm not a fan of Palin (no, really?), but this is the kind of thing that drives me crazy. How do you know that that debt proves incompetence? Was there a good reason for it? Did her predecessor fail to spend money that had to be spent? And hey, the Executive Directory of the Sierra Club is hardly impartial on the subject of Big Oil.... so why should I trust him on this?
