In less than a week, we've gone from vaguely hearing about a meeting for some kind of organization that arranges for a French teen to live with an area family for three weeks to planning to meet the guy who runs it so we can put in dibs on one girl. She looks great on her application. Okay, that's what you do on applications, but still. We're already thinking of things we can show her, places we can take her. It'd be so cool....
Hope we get her.

I hope you had better luck than we did. We took in two French girls...just for two weeks in the summer...and they totally ignored us and went off to do their own thing.
Well, this program seems to be pretty strict. You can say 'send this kid back', and the parents get to buy a right-now ticket.
This sounds very cool. I think I'll have to make a pit-stop in Bill-ville (which I think you actually DM'd me about awhile ago, oops) when she is around.
Only problem is, we don't know exactly when that will be. I'm thinking some time around the end of July, beginning of August.
