An article in the New York Times mentions that colleges are retooling and expanding their guidance offices to assist out-of-work and/or searching alumni who haven't stepped foot on the campus in thirty years. The article is quite perky, the people involved vigorous and energetic.
Gee, I thought, wonder if my college is doing that? I'm not looking, but -- wonder if?
Well, kind of. Their web site, though, feels as if it were designed by someone just learning the package, and orchestrated by people without imagination.
For some odd reason, that disappointed me.
