According to one site, Clinton didn't want the roll call vote, Obama did, so as to prove that he has done all he could to enshrine Clinton's valiant but futile effort.

The whole thing is going to be so totally scripted that I don't know if I'll even watch. I was kind of hoping for something radical like the 68 convention. I don't remember it of course, but I love watching the film clips and seeing it in movies.
Ah, the memories....burning tires in the streets... the soothing sound of sirens at dawn.... and the delicate shade of blue in the helmets of the stormtroopers....
Or so I've heard.
