Does it ever seem to anyone that no matter what you want to do, there's a whole community of people who've been doing it for years, and who have firm opinions on how to do it, and oh by the way, you need to do this, and this, and this, first? Like getting on the merry go round after it started?

I fell off a merry-go-round once at the county fair when I was a kid.
You've really gotta watch those horses that go up and down.
Personally, I always wanted to pay the guy to set it to Turbo Mode....
I can ride the scariest roller coaster in the world and love every minute of it, but the merry-go-round makes me nauseous.
I used to like rollercoasters, but not so much any more. I think my tolerance for being whipsawed at random intervals has decreased. There's a new ride locally called Farenheit that scares the hell out of me, and I haven't even seen it.
Not quite ready to sit by the side of the lake, eating crumpets, though.
I saw Fahrenheit on a coaster show on the Discovery Channel a couple weeks ago. Looks fun! That one hill is just crazy!
Here's a pic.
Thats the one, yes. Let me know when you go. We live about forty minutes away, which means that you can recover from the undoubtedly soul-shattering experience down on our spare couch. Assuming it doesn't just leave you a gibbering wreck, of course....
