How High?

This afternoon, I was standing at the stove, cooking dinner, when my daughter dropped a broom behind me with a sharp bang. I think I levitated. This time, no glass shards landed in the food, though, which is goodness, as I'd just gotten through putting the last of the meatballs in with the simmering tomato sauce, and that would have given them a mystery crunch. I like this recipe -- its one I'd found in a magazine, and its pretty easy, but it does take a while. I think that next time we make it, I'll try some Italian sausage in with the beef, just to alter the flavor a bit. Speaking of flavor, we have a treat coming up - my birthday, for which I'm going to make some Tiramisu (yum!) and possibly some bread -- I looked at a recipe for Limpa bread that looks interesting, or maybe challah -- if I did that, we could have French toast, which is goodness. Either way, my wife's taking the week off -- just to make sure that she gets some of the Tiramisu this time (g).
