Bemused
I am fascinated by the current actions of Senate Republicans relative to the budget. Can it be that they truly believe tax cuts are a better solution? Or is their hereditary abhorrence of government spending blinding their thought processes?
The local paper had a cartoon (it's probably in Cagle's) where Obama is blowing up a balloon, and there's a GOP elephant on the other side with a pin against the balloon.
Cagle does good stuff. I occasionally come across his web site, and I'm always impressed. Don't always LIKE it -- Hey, isn't that an anti-Obama dig? - but I'm always impressed. He skewers people well.

If they abhor govt. spending...what in the heck were they doing the past 8 years?
Going along with their party leader in an excess in party loyalty, coupled with a feeding frenzy, I'd say.
