My daughter's signing up for Facebook. Not sure how I feel about that. Well, no, that's not true -- I know how I feel - just not sure if I'm being overprotective.
I was thinking about flat screen monitors. I wonder what it would take to get a fairly large one, mount it in the kitchen, and run a calendar app on it. This, from a person who sometimes has to try three times to get the electric pencil sharpener to work. It's the fault of the book that I'm reading -- it's studded with all sorts of nifty little gadgets, like a pole light in a garden that automatically locates you and illuminates where you're about to walk -- which makes me think you know what would be neat?
I have five books to read. And the style of one of the two current ones reminds me of one I read years ago - Vote for Quimby, and Quick! -- that I'd like to have. The book can be had cheaply enough -- I just don't want to pay shipping. Talk about cheap.
I was at a local football game the other day, offering to sign up people to vote. No takers. But last night I thought about it, and how people can't get out to do things they want to do because this pesky thing called work gets in the way, and I decided to offer to come to the workplace to do it. Sent the offer to a local hospital, two schools, and the police. One of the schools said yeah, good idea, give us a call and we'll set up a time. I'm glad of that.

I like that flat monitor in the kitchen idea! Oh boy, I could get all kinds of organizing done with an open calendar app on something like that.
Yup. I can almost imagine how it would work, too. Its just the minor details of actually doing it...
