Analogy

Is it a fair analogy to say that Bush's attitude toward what's coverable by executive privilege is similar to Hitler's attitude toward what land ought to belong to Germany? It seems to me, yes. Hitler could have been stopped -- painfully -- several times, but each time it was easier to give in, to assume that 'this was as far as it would go'. I think that Bush's arrogance for the use of executive privilege has the same basis, and, if not resisted, will have the same result.
