All true. But I did get on the intense side relative to the election, and though I am pleased at the result, I didn't like the idea that I might be ticking people off in the process. Guess I'm not the tough political operative type.
But now I can go back to baking -- right now, for example, chocolate mint brownies. Yow!
I'm not a tough political operative either. I get my feelings hurt too easily for the hard core political forums. I hate seeing people be so mean to each other.
Funny thing, though, I've been thinking about brownies for a few days now myself. I was figuring I'd bake some tomorrow.

I would like to believe the results presage the return of a modicum of civility in politics. I am sure they don't, but I can hope.
