A prisoner who was freed from Guantanamo Bay doesn't want to go home. It's not that he likes it there; it's that he thinks he'll be persecuted if he's sent home. Which, by the way, he was.
Want to bet nobody wants to talk about what the right thing to do in that case is? Come to think of it, what is the right thing?
