I have a couple of old telephones. One sort of works, but the springs in the dial are getting a bit creaky (it's a 1950's French thing), and the other is so old it doesn't have a dial. And the cotton that covers the wires has mostly rotted... But it is a beautiful oak! (And I will restore it. Just in time for us to abandon our landline...)
