Well, I met with my mentee (I guess he's called). I think it went pretty well, given that we didn't have a lot to talk about, and we were sort of feeling our way along. He's eleven, in sixth grade. He likes football, reading, some science, some math. Overall, he seems to be a bright kid, actually. Perhaps they gave me the easy one?
We meet again on Monday. I'm almost as terrified as I was today -- what we will talk about? how should I approach it?
