Why do we say that kittens are cute?

They are, I know.

But I wonder what makes us think so?

It's the snuggle factor, coupled with the baby thing, and softness all rolled up into one.
Now if your looking at the whole picture most are sleeping and content or almost there and in again something snuggly.
In reality, (sound of record screeching to a halt) kittens pooping all over is not cute, nor is kitten scratching furniture, climbing curtains and your ankles and fingers.
Another words, Photos of kittens are always cute. If your a kitten type person.

We've had one cat, that we got when she was mature, and had for about five years. I kind of liked it, actually. In the eternal dichotomy, I'm much more of a cat person than a dog person.

Because they are our special little babies who are all ADHD cuddle buddies.
