It's the snuggle factor, coupled with the baby thing, and softness all rolled up into one. Now if your looking at the whole picture most are sleeping and content or almost there and in again something snuggly. We've had one cat, that we got when she was mature, and had for about five years. I kind of liked it, actually. In the eternal dichotomy, I'm much more of a cat person than a dog person.
