Expensive. I cannot drink that much. Usually people get far less interesting as the evening goes on and finally, my hearing is not that good anymore, so noisy bars are bad news.
I doubt people do this for the conversation, anyway. Though I'm given to understand that people seem more interesting as the evening progresses. Not that I'd know....
