Comical

Every so often, you see an article or complaint about the use of the Comic Sans font. I happen to like CS, and I wondered: who made it? And why?

This is who, and why.

That's a good story. I used to use comic sans. Used it because it was different. Some few would recognize it, some fewer still would would know it was different but not know why. But then I used to try different fonts from time to time.

I was a little surprised to find that he was not bothered by people being snarky about his creation, until I realized (from his comments) that he never intended for it to be a font at all.

And apple stole from Microsoft. Hmmm. Doesn't sound like the universe unfolding as it should.

Stole is such a harsh word.....

Having listened to hundreds of Mac users complaining about how MS stole the windows idea from mac, I think that is hardly harsh at all. ( Actually, I always thought that was bogus...if MS was going to steal something from Mac, don'tcha think they would stolen somthing that worked?)

But I like the font.
