I liked it, IF,...she's owning her mistake and asking for a second chance. The odds of doing it again surely diminished with the dishonor of holding that sign.
Interestingly enough, I thought this was a kid talking about cheating in school. A quick gsearch for 'honk' and 'cheated' informed me otherwise. Seems to be a pretty popular topic.
