I had a manager who was ADD once. That entire office was extremely unproductive because his meeting were just like that joke. We could never stay on a topic long enough to resolve or plan anything.
Was it that he found it difficult to sustain thought for more than a few minutes, or was it more that he found it difficult to retain it past the meeting?
He couldn't even sustain his thoughts enough to finish one topic at the meeting before moving on to the next. Nothing ever got resolved. We never had any direction. So we all had to just make our own way as individuals. That's great for an individually competitive environment, but we never accomplished anything as a group or department.

Not a big Ritalin fan, I take it. Gotta be tough for him, too. That kind of short attention span, he could be a Senator.
