My daughter is miffed.
She has the day off because it snowed. But both my wife and I are dialed in to work from home. Consequently, we are not willing to walk with her to a friends house through the unplowed streets, or let her go by herself. Her constitutional right to frolic in the snow is thus abridged.

Awww, one day she'll understand your reasons. Maybe during your break, you could frolic in the snow with her, to cheer her up. :)
But if you're anything like me .. snow is best viewed from the inside of a warm cozy home.
Actually, I let her guilt me into walking over. Man. I definitely don't need any more cardio workout today! (And guess who gets to go back and get her?)
