It's possible that this isn't true. It is, after all, a comic. It's certainly true that this is an example of the technique where you propose something that no reasonable person could possibly be against, and then use that implied agreement broadly. However, since I agree with the conclusion, I feel that it's okay in this case. Does that make me the equivilent of Glenn Beck?
