Well, no. It's like a guy I heard of who created an app that would post to Twitter whenever pressure was applied to the mattress of a newlywed's bed. Tacky, to put it mildly. But as a technical feat, intruiging. It makes me think of ubiquitous computing, something I used to be interested in, though lately, not so much.
