I was a little startled to overhear my daughter say casually to a friend that it would be interesting to come back to high school reunions in ten years to see who was straight, who was gay, who was transgendered, and who was a transvestite. Or some combination thereof.
I'm pretty relaxed about most of that, but clearly she's far beyond me. Good for her.

One lad we were convinced was gay has been married to the same woman for about a zillion years (about the same number of years since I left school); they have a brood. Another guy who was very macho turned out to be gay. And then there's me... :-)
"And then there's me". Makes a decent title for an autobiography, doesn't it?
